The management team at Enlighten Enviro is highly qualified and combine decades of experience working in industry, meaning that when you choose us to help with your energy assessment needs, you are in safe hands.
In addition, all of our energy assessors are directly employed by Enlighten Enviro and hold full National Energy Services (NES) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accreditation. Our assessment team offers national coverage, including Scotland and Northern Ireland.
John has over 35 years' experience in industry, principally at Austin Trumanns Group, where he was CEO for 27 years. He oversaw the company's growth, making it the largest independently-owned steel distributor and processor in the UK when he sold the business in 1997.
John founded and is currently chairman of Fastframe USA Inc, a retail franchise with headquarters in Los Angeles, 300 outlets in 21 states and Master Licenses granted in Brazil, Australia, Japan and Ireland. Along with Enlighten Enviro, John's property and security investments in the UK, Europe and the Caribbean make up the remainder of his business portfolio.
Outside of work, John's interests include football, skiing, scuba diving, trekking and travel. He has a keen interest in long distance cycling which has taken him all over the world. He also enjoys spending time with family, friends and walking his dogs.
Mike is a professional salesman with over 24 years' experience of working in a variety of industries, from group sales director of a national steel company to director of a military business dealing with the MOD and overseas servicemen. He has a proven track record in delivering sales. Mike prides himself on his professionalism and customer service bringing both an energetic and enthusiastic approach to each new task undertaken.
With a passion for travel, sport and adventure, you will find Mike spending his days off walking in The Lakes with his wife and their pet Weimaraner, Elvis, or competing in Masters swimming competitions.
John qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 and subsequently was elected as a Member of the Academy of Experts. He has specialised in the inspection of buildings and diagnosis of their problems throughout his career. His qualifications as a Commercial Energy Assessor with the RICS and National Energy Services - together with residential assessor qualifications for both private sector dwellings and public sector sampling - have allowed him to provide practical solutions in the provision of real estate information to clients.
Nikki joins us as Business Development Manager having worked within the property industry for almost 10 years. In 2007, and following roles with a national housebuilder and a large survey and valuation firm, Nikki qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor and became Area Manager of the North West region for a national EPC provider responsible for a team of Energy Assessors and business development within the region. Most recently Nikki headed up the Survey Department of a Cheshire based Estate Agency where she was responsible for all aspects of the survey and valuation process including client account management, business development and management of the administration and survey team. In addition, Nikki handled EPC account management for some of the top commercial agencies in Greater Manchester and domestic EPCs for Social Housing organisations.
Nikki has a professional yet friendly approach and is dedicated to building on Enlighten Enviros existing client relationships and forging new ones.
In her spare time Nikki enjoys circuit training, running, and travel and is looking forward to her first visit to Australia in the next few months.
After graduating from Sheffield University with a degree in Natural Environmental Sciences, Neil passed his Science Postgraduate Certificate of Education and taught secondary school science for several years. Neil has a keen interest in environmental issues and subsequently trained to be both a Domestic Energy Assessor and a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor by gaining Diplomas in Home Inspection and Non-Domestic Energy Assessment respectively. Neil is currently completing a qualification in Display Energy Certificates.
Neil is a keen cyclist, walker and Outward Bound enthusiast. Notable achievements include cycling the UK coast-to-coast, completing the Three Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hours and cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End for Cancer Research.
Kelly is a client account manager for Enlighten Enviro covering Merseyside, Cheshire and South Manchester. She has previous experience working within construction, based on-site assisting directors and site managers with the day-to-day running of projects. Kelly has a wide knowledge of the construction and property industry and has a proven track record of taking care of clients and providing excellent customer service.
Outside work, Kelly spends most of her time at home with her two children. She enthusiastically trains in martial arts and enjoys baking novelty cakes.
Joanne left college with the London Chamber of Commercial Secretarial & Business Studies Certificate. She joined a major estate agency & surveyors practice 20 years ago as secretary to the commercial manager, arranging surveys, conducting viewings and looking after the general day-to-day running of the department. During this time she gained extensive knowledge of the industry as a whole. Joanne has been involved in the present group for six years, working in the survey department and arranging both Domestic and Commercial EPCs since they were first introduced in 2008.
Out of the workplace, Joanne is married to extreme sports enthusiast and keen cyclist Chris and Joanne's interests include travel, walking and rounders, a sport which she has participated in for 30 years. Joanne joined her husband and his friends in raising money for Bury Cancer Hospice by selling handmade cards.
