Enlighten Enviro is committed to improving the impact of its activities on the environment and aims to achieve this through defined environmental objectives and targets. We acknowledge that we have a duty and responsibility to reduce the environmental impact of our business activities on both the local and wider community.

The company is committed to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution. Environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice are regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance.

We aim to implement the following key principles of environmental management:

As Enlighten Enviro develops these principles it is our intention to obtain ISO14001 accreditation.

This strategy is intended to recognise the company's success in maximising environmental efficiency and performance and minimising harmful effects on the environment.

Some of our proposals include raising the environmental awareness of all employees through regular updates and training. On a day-to-day level Enlighten Enviro strives to increase recycling of domestic waste across the company.

In addition, our service development and continuous improvement programmes will include the specific environmental objectives of reducing energy consumption, carbon emissions and promoting the use of renewable technologies.
