Mission Statement

Enlighten Enviro's principle activity is the provision of energy certification in compliance with government legislation, with particular emphasis on future regulations concerning carbon emissions.

We have a team of level 3 and 4 accredited energy assessors. They bring with them a range of other disciplines, allowing us to allocate more sophisticated properties to the most appropriate qualified person.

We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and to demonstrate this, our assessor team is supported by client account managers to ensure a local customer service interface, which maintains reliable and professional standards.

Company History

Enlighten Enviro Ltd was founded in 2007 under the name EPC Direct, to provide residential Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for Home Information Packs (HIPs). This early grounding in the provision of EPCs enabled us to become an experienced and trusted provider of energy certificates.

In March 2009, the company changed its name to Enlighten Enviro, in order to reflect the culture of the company and our involvement in the wider energy market. Our aim is to become the leading energy certification provider in the country, offering fast and efficient services at competitive prices.

As legislation has changed to include commercial properties, so too has Enlighten Enviro. Our assessors are accredited to undertake commercial inspections up to Level 4 and, as a result of this quick reaction to the change in legislation, we now employ some of the most experienced assessors in the country.

The company has gone from strength to strength and has grown to provide national coverage including Scotland and Northern Ireland. We have provided EPCs for a number of landmark buildings including Camelot Theme Park and the Trafford Centre and national portfolios for Blue Chip companies. As a result of this growth, we now have a dedicated sales and administration team in place that offers a bespoke service to cater for all your energy certification needs.

Our services are provided on a national basis, including Scotland and Northern Ireland, and we will guarantee a service provision time. We directly employ our energy assessors and they are accredited by National Energy Services Ltd (NES) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Furthermore, the company is regulated by the RICS, holds BSI ISO accreditation and has a high level of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
